Welcome to the Star Riders Virtual Art Gallery. This is a new project, and we are seeking contributions of original artwork to be displayed here. We are especially keen to show Minbari-related art, whether it be of Neroon, Warrior Caste, Rangers, or any other topic. We will also accept general Babylon 5 artwork. Please see the submission guidelines for more details.
The virtual gallery tours will start here, with various gallery wings devoted to particular subjects.
Submission Guidelines
- The work should be your own original creation, and may be either conventional art media or computer graphics (not large animations)
- We cannot offer scanning services. You must supply a scanned file of your work if it is on conventional art media
- All work will remain the copyright of the respective artists, and should not be copied or displayed elsewhere without their agreement
- We regret we cannot accept artwork with adult themes, this includes any nudity. This would contravene our web hosting agreement and we aim at all times to have a reasonably family-friendly site. If you are in any doubt, just ask
- Acceptance of any artwork is at the discretion of the site owner, whose decision is final. If for some reason we cannot accept your work, please don't be disheartened, remember you can set up your own website !
- All artwork will be displayed permanently unless the artist requests its removal
- Image format - please use either GIF or JPG format. As a quick guide, GIF tends to suit limited-colour, logo-type images, and JPG is better for continuous-tone, photographic type images. We reserve the right to convert files to a different format to optimise file size etc.
- Image dimensions - please size the image to be able to fit onto a full screen at 800x600 resolution. The height isn't as vital but the width should be less than 800 pixels. Again we may have to resize images, we will always give you power of veto over the display format
- If you wish to supply a particular background graphic for your image's page, that is OK, but we prefer to display them on a plain black background wherever possible
- Submissions should be sent to jvwebpage@pretallez.com. Please send graphics as an attachment to your email, and don't zip the files. Allow several days to get a reply acknowledging your email
