Fragment of a diary of PsiCorps
founder Jodie McConnel

by Toymaker

They voted today
They actually did it
They voted to take away our rights.
Don't those Idiots realize that in voting away OUR rights they vote away their own?
No, of course not.
They are too afraid of us.
I remember
I remember high school, when they looked down at me, and were scared of me

Like I WANT to hear their thoughts
Like I WANT to be burdened with that kind of noise.
I remember the night they waited outside with the baseball bats
they wanted to teach me a lesson... well, I can only stop hearing the voices if the voices stop.
Now they vote to end our rights.
All of us who can read minds, even children!
But they are putting us all together.
The fools gave us PsiCorps! Then MAKE us join!
Never again.
They will never hurt us again.
We have to be mother, we have to be father, we have to protect the children, and train them.
We have to teach them to protect themselves.
Never again.
NEVER AGAIN
