John has played a variety of parts, from the wonderful "hotel manager worth checking in for", in "Big Business", the 1988 Bette Midler comedy; to a small-town pastor struggling with a crisis of faith in the 1988 made-for-TV "Promised a Miracle"; to Dr Chamberlain in the horror movie Dr. Giggles.
